In order to keep a light heart I have found it is best to find the good in all things. What can I learn and what can I gain from this quarantine? There really is so much!

I am finding time to get to know my children in a way I would not have had an opportunity otherwise. We are bonding as a family tremendously. I value this time so much. They won't be here much longer and I need to really get to know the adults they are becoming.

I am thinking about the time in the salon in a different way. When we return, how do I want it to be in order to maximize my enjoyment as well as yours? ...I want it to be FUN! Of course, I want it to be relaxing as well but, I want to bring fun into the salon a bit more! Maybe because I am bored right now. We usually just need a place to relax and now I am thinking, bring on the party. I think I want to make a combo of relaxing, rejuvinating and invigorating.

I am grateful to practice my hand tied hair extensions and I am enjoying the ones I have in my hair. I just got them right before I closed. I am so in love with this method, I can't begin to explain. I love the whole process of implementing them as well as having them. I dream about doing them more and giving the opportunity of luxurious hair to others. It is a game changer. You can put them so much higher on top of the head than all the others. Out of all the different types of extensions, these look the most natural and undetectable. Hence the name, Natural Beaded Rows. But, your hair has to be shoulder length to begin with. It isn't for short hair. I am going to get a jot application process started soon so you will be able to see if these are right for you. I wish you were here so you could see how good my hair looks! You will see it soon I hope!... If it were not for these, I really wouldn't offer extensions.

What are the other things I am feeling positive about during the quarantine? Getting organized in every way and getting in shape physically. I am working out, yay! I wish I were the type of person who could just sit and read a book during this time. Well, I will take that back, maybe the book I am reading hasn't hooked me the way others have. I have had many other books possess me in the past. You know the kind you can't put down. Right now I am reading Carnegie's Maid. I love historical fiction and so I thought this would do the trick but, it is a little slow to get going for me. I like non-fiction books too. I just ordered a business book called, Profit First by Mike Michalowicz. I can't wait. I have heard him speak at the conference in California and someone else recommend the book this week. One more book I have waiting for me as soon as I finish Carnegie's Maid is called, Bad Blood. It is nonfiction, about how one company scammed Silicon Valley and how it got caught. What books are you reading? And what good have you seen come from this crazy time?
